Society is getting older. That's great, but it also poses challenges for us all. The Caring Community is needed to meet the challenges of an ageing society.

A Caring Community is the successful interaction between citizens, the state, civil society organizations and professional service providers in coping with the tasks associated with demographic change. In a Caring Community, there are not only professional social services, but also private commitment and neighbourliness. This is where social cohesion is lived and the citizens of a municipality, a district or a residential area get involved. We look out for each other and take care of each other.
