Innovative housing in rural areas
Communal living
In times of rising housing and energy costs, difficult lending and diverse lifestyles, interest in alternative forms of housing such as communal living is growing. Key elements are shared activities and mutual support in everyday life.
Shared living is a concept for all people who want to live in a community - whether young or old, single, couple or family.
For those who cannot (or no longer) afford to build their own detached house, who want to move from the city to the countryside, for whom their current house is too big or for people who currently live alone and experience a feeling of isolation. Would you like to have communal spaces for childcare, events, co-working, cooking, gardening and working together in addition to your own home - and also be part of a larger community? Communal living offers all this and more.
SPES Zukunftsakademie is currently supporting "Gemeinsam Dahoam im Innviertel", where two projects for communal living are being developed. Do you want to start a communal living project in your municipality? We would be happy to support you!
